LIC IPO Details: India’s Biggest IPO Is Opening Today!

The wait for the country’s biggest IPO will end today. LIC’s IPO will be open for retail investors on Wednesday, May 4 at 10 am. This much-awaited IPO will be open for investment till May 9. Those who have a Demat account can invest for one lot with a minimum of Rs 15,000.

LIC’s IPO was opened for anchor investors only on 2 May 2022. An investment of Rs 5627.3 crore has been made towards anchor investors. Anchor investors have applied for 5,92,96,853 equity shares at a price of Rs 949 per share. In this IPO, there are shares of Rs 5,620 crore for anchor investors.

Anchor investors include the Government of Singapore, Government Pension Fund Global, BNP Investments LLC, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Societe Generale, Invesco India, and Cent Capital Fund. Apart from these foreign investors, domestic investors include SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential, SBI Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Axis Mutual Fund, HDFC Trustee, Nippon Life, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance, Larsen Mutual Fund, UTI Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund, IDFC MF and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance have stakes.
