1. Deepak Chahar

Chahar, who was the second most expensive purchase in the IPL 2022 auction, had suffered the most significant injury coming into the new season. In February, the bowling all-rounder, Deepak Chahar injured his quadriceps in the third T20I against the West Indies.

2. Suryakumar Yadav

Mumbai Indians’ star middle-order batsman, has been officially ruled out of the rest of IPL 2022, owing to an injury to a muscle in his left forearm. Suryakumar spent three weeks rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru before the commencement of the IPL after suffering a hairline fracture on his thumb in the final match of the T20I series against West Indies on February 22.

3. Ravindra Jadeja

One of the top retained players of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2022, Jadeja has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2022 because of a rib injury.

4. Washington Sundar

Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder, sustained another injury to his already wounded bowling hand, in a match against CSK on May 1. SRH head coach Tom Moody confirmed that after the match. Before making his comeback against Gujarat Titans, the all-rounder had to sit out three matches owing to split webbing in his bowling hand.

5. T. Natarajan

Natarajan has spent more time on the bench than on the field since his fairy-tale tour of Australia. Natarajan was part of the Tamil Nadu team that successfully defended the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 title last year. But his body failed to cope with the match intensity after his knee problems and suffering from Covid-19.
