In the T20 format, a batter needs to have the skill, intelligence, and also power to take the team home.

On a big ground, the team needs an individual who can clear the fence easily and provide acceleration at the right point in time.

5. Nicholas Pooran (SRH)- 108 meter

The newly appointed West Indies white-ball captain Nicholas Pooran had a disastrous 2021 season

with only 85 runs at a mere average of 7.72.  However, his performances in the international series against England helped him to get picked up by SRH for the 2022 season. Ahead of this season he was impressive for the Caribbean team against India and attained a good knowledge about the pitches.

4. Liam Livingstone (PBKS)- 108 meter

The Englishman Livingstone was pretty average in the 2019 and 2021 seasons and was yearning for a good performance this year.

Heading into this tournament with a good form, the dasher was a key player for the Kings in the middle order.  His first notable knock came against Chennai Super Kings in Match 11 of this season at Brabourne Stadium.

3. Dewald Brevis (MI) – 112 meter

One of the finest performers of the Under-19 World Cup 2022, Dewald Brevis got his debut IPL contract with MI.

He displayed his intent and talent from his first game, wherein he scored 29 off 19 balls. His best knock in the season came against Punjab at MCA Pune, wherein the Protea better delivered a knock of 49 off 25 balls.

2. Tim David (MI)- 114 meter

The Singaporean cricketer, Tim David has been highly rated ahead of this season due to his finishing capabilities.

He had proved himself in the leagues like BBL, PSL, and CPL as well. He featured in only one game for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the last edition. David was snapped up by the Mumbai Indians for the IPL 2022 season.

1. Liam Livingstone (PBKS) – 117 meter

One of the finest T20 players going around, Liam Livingstone had been impressive in the other franchise T20 leagues but had faltered in the IPL

In five matches of the last edition, he scored only 42 runs for Rajasthan Royals (RR).  With his impressive performances for the England national team, Livingstone got an expensive contract for the 2022 season from Punjab Kings (PBKS).
