Sri Lanka Fuel Crises: India Sends Fuel To Sri Lanka Again

Sri Lanka is facing an acute shortage of fuel and India is helping Sri Lanka by shipping petrol and diesel.

Over the past 3 months India has already shipped 400,000 tonnes of fuel to Sri Lanka.

India is transporting more ships to Sri Lanka containing fuel, out of which one ship will reach Lanka between 13-15 July.

And second ship is being expected to reach Sri Lanka between 29-31 July and the last ship will reach their between 10-15th August.

After the recent discussion between India Ns Sri Lanka, India decided to ship 4 ships to Sri Lanka.

Until the new stock arrives Sri Lanka's present Fuel stocks will be used only for essential services.

According to Sri Lanka media report, they are planning to produce 100000 metric tone of gas in coming 4 months.

And on top of that 33,000 metric tons of gas is going to reach Sri Lanka this month in July.
